We are very pleased to share that Venture Design has acquired Torkelson Möbler – a strong and well-established brand within traditional furniture retail!
The acquisition is part of our strategic direction, where we are strengthening our focus on retail customers. By adding Torkelson as a brand to our portfolio, we are taking a further step in developing an even stronger and more complete offering for physical retail.
Torkelson will continue to be a brand for retail customers, and the primary focus will be to strengthen our presence in stores with a more tailored range.
Going forward, this will also bring an exciting development of the assortment. Torkelson’s most appreciated products will be combined with a new range to be launched at the Furniture Fair in Gothenburg this autumn. This is where Torkelson’s quality and heritage meet Venture Design’s modern design and commercial strength. The new products are already in production and will play an important role in strengthening the joint offering.
During July, the inventory will be relocated to Venture Design’s warehouse. From 1 August, Torkelson’s range will be delivered from there, and it will also be possible to combine products from both Venture Design and Torkelson in the same order. Key people from Torkelson’s organisation will remain part of the team going forward.
