eEquity Promotes Aida Jammal as New Partner

eEquity, a leading Nordic growth equity investor, is pleased to announce the promotion of Aida Jammal to Partner.

Aida joined eEquity’s Investment Team in 2019 and has since played a key role in the firm’s growth and evolution. With five years of investment banking experience in London, where she worked on M&A and private equity fundraisings, Aida first connected with eEquity in 2016 when she advised the firm on the successful fundraising of eEquity IV. Since joining the firm, Aida has contributed meaningfully across investments, portfolio value creation and fundraisings.

Aida Jammal comments:

“Being promoted to Partner at eEquity is an honour and a recognition of the hard work and dedication over the years. As a woman with Palestinian roots who grew up in a small Swedish town with no industry connections, I’m proud to have reached this level. I look forward to building on eEquity’s strong momentum as we expand into larger, more complex deals and continuing the close collaboration I enjoy and value so much with both our investors and the founders and teams we back.“

Patrik Hedelin, Managing Partner at eEquity, comments:

“Aida has been a valued and appreciated member of our team from the start. In addition to her important role in the Investment Team, she has also been instrumental in our fundraising efforts, both for our core funds and co-investment vehicles, and has made a strong impact across the firm. Aida has also been an excellent external representative for eEquity, where her insights on growth equity, consumer and the tech industry have been very well received by the market. As eEquity has evolved and broadened its strategy to include majority investments in larger companies — such as the recent acquisition of Prisjakt, partly financed through a bond issue — Aida has been central to driving these efforts. Magnus Wiberg and I are very pleased to welcome her to the Partner group.”
